The Football Association of Greenland KAK "Kalaallit Arsaattartut Kattuffiat, with the Football Nationalteam better known as the "Polar Teddy Bears," has joined our revived Amateur National Teams Format. We are thrilled to welcome Greenland as our latest and newest member.

Although geographically part of the American continent and politically part of Denmark, Greenland is an autonomous country. As a result, the football association KAK is neither a member of FIFA, UEFA, nor CONCACAF and does not participate in World, European, or North American championships. Our initiative focuses on the passion and sport of football, and warmly welcoming Greenland into our format.

Founded in 1971, the association currently consists of 39 clubs with approximately 5,500 registered players. The planned Nations Cup in October 2025 and the Friendly Series in November 2025 aim to bring fresh energy to our format, creating new opportunities for Greenlandic players to prove themselves and showcase their talents on the international stage.

Mostly of the current A-Nationalteam squad are amateur players with 2-3 professionals which play in Denmark Pro Teams. Since founding the Association 1971 they did a lot of international unofficial matches and reached good sporting results.
