Unlike professional football, creating a precise schedule for Amateur National Teams is challenging. Players, coaches, and support staff are often employed or in education and simultaneously participate in ongoing leagues without interruption. Furthermore, the start and end dates, as well as the winter and summer breaks, of Semi-professional and Amateur Leagues vary across nations, further complicating the process of finding ideal scheduling for Amateur National Team Matches.

 

For organizational, logistical, and economic reasons, three of the four International Match Dates can currently only be planned and financed as two-day events.
